Dr. Frank R. Jones, President and Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Jones is a seasoned bio-tech entrepreneur. As the founder of Etubics, Dr. Jones has served as the Company’s Chairman of the Board of Director’s since its inception. He is the Principle Investigator on many of the company's National Institute of Health grants, which total over $7 million. From 1981 to 1996, Dr. Jones served as Founding Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the publically traded medical device company IMRÉ CORPORATION (NASD: IMRE), which focused on immunoadsorption human treatments. From 1996 to 1998 Dr. Jones was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Scius Corporation, a private company. From 1998 to 2003 he consulted to the biotechnology industry and was the Managing Partner of Haidas Ranches, LLC a land development company. From 1983 until 1986, Dr. Jones was Director of the Immune Response Program of the Pacific Northwest Research Foundation in Seattle. Dr. Jones was a Researcher in the Department of Complement and Effector Biology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (“MSKCC”) in New York City from 1980 to 1981 and was a Research Associate in the Laboratory of Veterinary Oncology at MSKCC from 1981 to 1983. Dr. Jones holds a PhD degree from the University of Washington in Biological Structure/Cellular Immunology. He has 10 patents to his name and has published over 40 peer reviewed scientific papers.

John Abeles, MD

Since 1992, Dr. Abeles has been the Founder, sole investor and General Partner of Northlea Partners Ltd., a private $30 million, venture and private capital, family partnership headquartered in Florida. He is also President of MedVest, Inc., a business and financial consulting firm, and has been instrumental in helping promulgate many early-stage medical and other companies. Dr. Abeles is a Managing Member of ProMed Capital LLC, a New York investment group promulgating Israeli medical venture companies and investments. In 1975 he was a Wall Street health-care analyst with Kidder Peabody until 1980 when he formed MedVest and later Northlea Partners. Prior to that, he practiced medicine in London before joining the pharmaceutical industry as a senior medical executive with Sterling Drug, Pfizer, Inc. and Revlon Health Care. Dr. Abeles received his medical degree as well as a degree in Pharmacology from the University of Birmingham, England.

C. Thomas Caskey, MD

Dr. C. Thomas Caskey is the Chief Executive Officer of the Brown Foundation Institute of Molecular Medicine for Prevention of Human Diseases at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Tex. Dr. Caskey was Chief Executive Officer and President of Cogene Biogene Ventures, a venture capital fund designed to support early-stage biotechnology companies. Previously he served as senior vice president at Human Genetics and Vaccines Discovery at Merck Research Laboratories and as president of Merck Genome Research Institute. He is a graduate of Duke University Medical School and his genetic research documented the universality of the Genetic Code. His research has identified the genetic basis of 10 major heritable diseases. He has served as chair of the Advisory Panel on Forensic Uses of DNA Tests, U.S. Congress Office of Technology Assessment and currently serves on the Governor’s Committee of 17, which has oversight of the Texas $200 million Emerging Technology Fund. Dr. Caskey is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Medicine.

Richard B. Gayle, III, PhD

Dr. Richard B. Gayle was a founding board member of Sustainable Path Foundation and a Senior Scientist at Immunex Corporation for 16 years from 1986 to 2002. Dr. Gayle was involved in various projects while at Immunex and assisted the company by bringing a major product to the marketplace. He has had numerous peer-reviewed papers. Dr. Gayle received his PhD from the California Institute of Technology and graduated from Rice University with a degree in biochemistry.
